Cyber Security Consultant - Contract Engagement - Outside IR35

We currently have ongoing contract opportunities for experienced Cyber Security Consultants to support the design, delivery, and optimization of secure, high-performing hybrid infrastructure environments.

Role Requirements:
  • Proficient in developing and designing secure solutions and documenting security controls in a Security Design.
  • Understanding of cyber security design principles to ensure solutions meet industry standards.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work with risk management processes and articulate associated risks and benefits.
  • Understanding of networks and cloud environments is advantageous.
  • Comfortable creating design documentation and presenting to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess specialized technical knowledge and experience in cyber security, evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g., GICSP, GCIP, CISSP, CISM).
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and regulations across different sectors.
  • Analysis and management of risks and cybersecurity controls, following standards and methodologies such as ISO 27000, NIST, SANS CSC, etc.
  • Understanding of infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management.
  • Knowledge of Backup & Recovery technologies and installation.
  • Experience working with or within an Incident Response team is advantageous.
