Overview
We have an immediate requirement for a Cyber Security Consultant for a new energy project based in Fife.
Responsibilities
- Finalise the cyber security management plan, detailing how the company will monitor systems for security threats, conduct threat assessments, and implement threat mitigation procedures.
- Promote a culture of cyber security on site and among stakeholders.
- Coordinate and align all parties to ensure the timely completion of their deliverables.
- Support and provide guidance for EC&I completions.
- Review completion and commissioning plans.
- Assist in the development and review of procedures.
Scope:
- Conduct project-wide cyber security assessments.
- Maintain and update the cyber security risk register.
- Develop and implement a cyber security training plan.
- Prepare and present regular cyber security reports to the project management team and key stakeholders.
- Manage the full handover of detailed design information.
- Produce technical reports summarising feasibility, and identifying design options and alternatives.
- Provide recommendations to enhance robustness or eliminate root causes during failure investigations.
- Offer technical advice relating to the operation, control, and monitoring of automated systems.
- Develop disaster recovery and contingency plans in the event of security breaches.
- Create guidance documents or instructions to help onsite staff implement recommended actions.
