Job Description:

Cyber Security Business Analyst – 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35) | Remote | £550/Day

An exciting 6-month contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to join our team. The role is fully remote, offering a competitive day rate of £550 and an Inside IR35 status. The role is set to begin ASAP.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cybersecurity or information security projects (e.g., DLP, Security Operations, Cloud Security, IAM).
  • Strong background in highly regulated industries, with preference for experience in financial services, insurance, or banking.
  • Track record of delivering large-scale security programs (e.g., cloud security, access control, threat detection, and data protection).
  • Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to security.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management lifecycle based on established frameworks such as ISO 27001, SANS, and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Strong documentation and report writing skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, SABSA, GIAC, CCSP, CCSK, or equivalent are preferred.
