Cyber Security Associate Architect

Salary: £41,340 - £47,975

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid (on-site and remote)

Security Level: Security Check (SC)

Interview Format: Panel Interview (Remote)

The Opportunity

The Parliamentary Digital Service are currently looking to add a Cyber Security Architect Associate to our fantastic Cyber Security team. The post holder will be part of the Cyber Risk and Architecture function within the Cyber Security team and will work with key stakeholders (including solution architects, project managers, system owners, and technical colleagues across PDS) to ensure that good cyber security is built into solution designs and that good cyber security practices are embedded in day to day PDS operations.

What You Need
  • A broad understanding of technology and a good understanding of cyber security, threat and risk management techniques / approaches (including common security control frameworks. E.g. NIST 800.53).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to establish positive working relationships and influence and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly, succinctly and effectively.
  • Good planner & self starter with ability to work successfully within a team, whilst upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Two years experience in formulating & assessing general computing controls (preferably cyber).
