Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Cyber Security Consultant to deliver security consultancy across complex programmes in Defence and government sectors. The role is client-facing, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and hands-on guidance on secure design and assurance throughout the lifecycle.

You will work with infrastructure, cloud and SaaS teams, driving secure engineering, accreditation activities and cross-functional collaboration while staying current with evolving

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience delivering cyber security consultancy services.
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Security Assurance and Accreditation activities.
• Knowledge of JSP440, JSP604/453 and Secure by Design principles.
• Defence, Government or public sector experience.
• CISSP and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Cyber Security Professional status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity and information assurance consultancy across complex projects and programmes.
• Support secure solution design, implementation and assurance activities.
• Conduct security assurance and accreditation activities.
• Assess organisations against frameworks and standards including NIST, CAF, Cyber Essentials and Secure by Design.
• Work closely with technical teams across infrastructure, cloud and SaaS environments.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide expert security guidance.
• Support business development, pre-sales activities and tender responses.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats, technologies and industry best practices.
