Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence sector, is seeking two experienced Cyber Security Architects to join their team on a contract basis. Working across various high-profile programmes such as Type 26, River Class Destroyer, Hunter Class Frigate, and other significant projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key national security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing robust cyber security architectures for naval ship programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with industry security standards and protocols
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate security measures across systems
  • Conducting thorough security risk assessments and providing actionable recommendations
  • Innovating and developing security solutions to mitigate potential threats
  • Supporting various capital projects with dedicated security expertise
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of emerging cyber threats and technologies
  • Advising on the implementation of security improvement programmes
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect, ideally within the Defence sector
  • Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and tools
  • Experience with security protocols and standards relevant to naval ships
  • Ability to perform comprehensive security risk assessments
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Willingness to work across multiple sites, with on-site presence required for two days a week
  • Flexibility to work at various locations including Scotstoun, New Malden, and Broad Oak
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in cyber security or related fields
  • 6-month contract
