The Cyber Security Architect is a strategic role within the Operational Resilience Function, focusing on the implementation of best practices across the information technology security landscape. The role supports the delivery of an effective cyber security programme through the creation and maintenance of security strategy roadmaps. The architect will use a risk-based approach whilst taking into account the ever-changing threat landscape, rapid uptake of cloud services, emerging technologies, regulatory expectations, and acquisitions that RLG may enter into. The role provides expert support across the enterprise information security framework:
The responsibilities include technical design and implementation of security controls across multiple security domains whilst working with wider enterprise architecture, technical SMEs, and platform owners.
