LIMA is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Vulnerability, Remediation and Detection service. You will work with customers, consultants and engineers to identify, communicate and address security risks across environments, and support incident response when events occur.

This role blends technical analysis with customer engagement to help organisations improve security maturity while delivering a high-quality managed security service.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, security operations or IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with vulnerability management and detection platforms.
• Experience with EDR solutions and Microsoft Defender.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of security frameworks and ISO 27001/27002 and Cyber Essentials.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating vulnerability assessments and scans across customer environments.
• Installation of threat management software.
• Providing patch recommendations and assisting in remediation.
• Reviewing change requests to avoid security regressions.
• Assessing new implementations against security baselines.
• Tracking patches from partners such as Microsoft.
• Assisting engineers with security incidents and reporting.
• Data cleansing to remove deprecated assets from reports.
• Presenting vulnerabilities to customers and discussing trends.
