Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard client data, supporting confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You will work with a team to implement security controls, respond to threats, and keep systems hardened and compliant with ITIL and KPIs.

The role requires broad infrastructure knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. A degree in a related field is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of threat intel and incident response processes.
• Experience with security tooling and cloud security technologies.
• Knowledge of ISMS, risk assessment, CIA triad and incident triage.
• Degree-level qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse threat intelligence and respond to day-to-day cyber threats by implementing mitigating controls and solutions.
• Maintain and update vulnerability and remediation records to support audit compliance and protect IT assets.
• Collaborate across global IT teams and third parties to secure infrastructure across lifecycle of systems.
• Coordinate penetration testing from planning through remediation, ensuring findings are prioritized and assigned.
• Define, implement, maintain and enhance security measures, policies, controls, patching and system hardening activities.
• Support cybersecurity incident response, including communications with the business, customers and suppliers.
• Maintain security documentation and stay current with evolving security practices, delivering services in line with ITIL, SLAs, KPIs and stakeholder expectations.
