Job description

Job Role

We're seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security Team. The role involves providing expert technical guidance on Security Operations to help safeguard our organization.

Your responsibilities include delivering metrics on technical aspects and service management of security incidents, vulnerability assessments, threat evaluations, forensic investigations, and more. You will also produce detailed reports tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Security Operations, hold a Security+ certification, and demonstrate exceptional analytical skills in Cyber Security.

Location and Hours
  • Location: Remote, Flexible
  • Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Closing Date: 12 May 2025
Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing technical expertise in Security Operations to inform various teams and the business.
  2. Data collection and analysis.
  3. Creating reports on security incidents and breaches.
  4. Supporting the Information Security and IT teams with necessary information.
  5. Contributing to Cyber Security policies and procedures.
  6. Advising the Security team on technical security operations and collaborating with the IT team.
  7. Contributing to Security Certification and audit processes.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a technical security role.
  • High analytical skills in Cyber Security.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork experience in Security Operations.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft security suite including Sentinel.
  • Knowledge of standards like ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • Proficiency with standards like NIST Cyber Security Framework and NCSC policies.
