Where will you be working?
This role can be based in Stevenage or Newcastle on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate required to be office-based for 3 days a week.
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our IT department. Our IT Cyber Security team is responsible for protecting the Confidentiality, Integrity, and availability of systems and data across M Group Ltd.

What will you be doing?
We’re looking for a cybersecurity professional to help protect our systems and data from threats and vulnerabilities. You’ll monitor and respond to security incidents, analyse emerging risks, and enhance vulnerability and patch management efforts.
Your role will include overseeing compliance, supporting penetration tests, managing threat monitoring tools, and collaborating with our Security Operations Center (SOC) provider to refine security measures.
You’ll also report on risks, provide insights on security trends, and contribute to the improvement of Group IT processes. If you’re passionate about cybersecurity and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
