Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend specific improvement measures that help enhance the security posture of the organization by protecting sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring customer centricity by providing appropriate cybersecurity measures.
• Monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access.
• Planning for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
• Monitoring for attacks, intrusions, and unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Performing log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized data or system access.
• Conducting security assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis of security incidents.
• Handling incidents escalated by the L1 team in 24x7 rotational shifts.
• Using analytics tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Completing security operations tasks related to this engagement.
• Analyzing attacks and developing remedial strategies.
• Creating reports and dashboards based on incident analysis.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Assistance
• Liaising with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and providing recommendations.
• Maintaining an information security risk register and supporting audits.
• Assisting in cybersecurity awareness training for colleagues.
• Providing guidance to employees on spam and malicious emails.

Performance Parameters

1. Customer Centricity: Timely security breach resolution to enhance user and stakeholder experience.
2. Process Adherence: Compliance with SLAs (90-95%), response times, and resolution TAT.
