Job summary

Cyber Security training courses in Leeds is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect data and systems. You will work with cyber leadership and IT teams to develop and operate security controls, respond to threats and manage vulnerabilities across a global tech environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure, Defender suites and SIEM tools, plus strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Hybrid working pattern includes three days on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure and Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Defender suites, Intune, Purview).
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerabilities, log mgmt and threat intel.
• Understanding of Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server, Linux, Cisco networking.
• Knowledge of ISMS, risk assessment, CIA triad, cryptography and incident response.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Good stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure.
• Security+ / SSCP / Network+ or related degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cyber security solutions and controls.
• Analyse threat intelligence and respond to day-to-day threats.
• Maintain vulnerability records to support audits.
• Secure new, existing and legacy infrastructure with IT teams.
• Define, implement and improve security measures and policies.
• Support cyber incident response and communications.
• Coordinate with third parties to patch and harden systems.
• Create and maintain security processes and documentation.
