PenCarrie, a leading UK B2B supplier to the garment decoration industry, seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to own security operations and influence strategy. You’ll protect systems, data, cloud environments and business applications, working across the organisation to identify risks, respond to threats and drive improvements.

You’ll join a growing IT team reporting to the Head of IT, with opportunities to broaden ownership, enhance security maturity and collaborate with third-party providers.

Formación

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure security technologies.
• Knowledge of endpoint protection, IAM, cloud security and information protection solutions.
• Understanding of threat detection, incident response and security monitoring.
• Experience managing vulnerabilities and remediation programmes.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs and secure network design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continual improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and respond to security alerts, threats and incidents.
• Lead investigations into suspicious activity and coordinate incident response.
• Manage and improve vulnerability identification, remediation and reporting.
• Support and enhance security across Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud platforms.
• Administer and optimise cyber security tools including endpoint protection and IAM.
• Support the development and maintenance of security policies, standards and procedures.
• Contribute to compliance activities (Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to reduce risk and strengthen controls.
• Deliver cyber security awareness initiatives and phishing simulations.
• Assist in developing SIEM, SOC and XDR capabilities.
• Produce security reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Support secure adoption of emerging tech, including AI.
