Job summary

RedRock Consulting is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join an established security team on an initial 3-month contract with a view to permanency. The role focuses on Identity & Access Management and Microsoft security technologies, with a strong hands-on element.

Based in the Bristol area with 1-2 days on-site per week and the rest remote, the candidate will work closely with wider IT and security teams to monitor, investigate and respond to security events using IAM, Defender, Sentinel and

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Cyber Security Analyst role.
• Strong experience with IAM, particularly Microsoft Entra ID.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender.
• Experience using Microsoft Sentinel.
• Understanding of security monitoring, incident investigation and response.
• Ability to work collaboratively with wider IT and security teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an established security team, initially on a 3-month contract with a view to transitioning into a permanent position.
