A Cybersecurity Analyst protects an organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

They monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents while implementing preventive measures to strengthen the company’s security posture.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, malware, and suspicious activity.
  • Analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis.
  • Maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide user training and awareness on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest threats, trends, and security technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and common attack techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
