Challenges don't come any bigger than defending democracy. The UK Parliament faces complex threats you won't find in other organisations. And they change quickly. At Parliamentary Digital Services, it's our task to look out for the cyber-based threats that arise from a constantly developing domestic and geopolitical landscape. As Cyber Security Analyst, you'll join our highly collaborative Cyber Security team, which is dedicated to protecting the people, data and technology at the two Houses of Parliament. As a result, we have state-of-the-art tooling and access to excellent training resources to defend this 200+ year-old institution from a very modern threat landscape.
The team is split into four areas - Respond, Prevent, Assure, and Deliver, and you'll focus mainly on the Respond area. You'll resolve cyber security issues, provide expert advice on cyber security, investigate malware infections, and analyse and mitigate against phishing campaigns. But your work won't stop there - we'll also expect you to:
