Job description

We’re looking for an experiencedCyber Security Analyst to join our client’s growing team and play a vital role in safeguarding their digital environment. This is a broad, hands-on role that spans all areas of cyber operations - from incident response and vulnerability management to awareness campaigns, security tooling oversight and project delivery.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for a security professional to make a real impact within a forward-thinking, collaborative, and progressive organisation that takes security seriously and invests in modern tooling and practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and supporting cyber incident management across the business, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Managing and maintaining security tooling and systems - particularly across the Microsoft security stack including Defender, Sentinel, and Microsoft 365.
  • Overseeing SIEM operations, ideally using Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Supporting and promoting cyber awareness initiatives
  • Conducting vulnerability management activities, including identifying, tracking and helping to fix known risks.
  • Collaborating with both internal teams and third-party providers (e.g. SOC/MSSP) to ensure alignment on threat detection and response.
  • Supporting wider cyber assurance efforts and contributing to ongoing cyber security projects.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in cyber incident response and general cyber operations.
  • Exposure tovulnerability management practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Defender, Sentinel, and other Microsoft-based security tools.
  • Some experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, and Active Directory is highly beneficial.
  • A background working with or alongside an external SOC or MSSP provider.
  • A proactive, approachable communicator with the ability to simplify complex issues and influence others to adopt secure behaviours.
