Our client, an industry-leading technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. As a Cyber Project Manager, you will oversee and manage complex cyber security projects, making a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Interim Cyber Project Manager

We are looking for a contract Project Manager to set up and manage projects aimed at improving cyber security. Examples include:

• Secure mobile device access to data and systems
• Formalising Back-up, Recovery, and Business Continuity exercises
• Implementing additional security controls on endpoints

You will work closely with the Cyber Security team to create Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), scope projects accurately, and plan effectively. Your role involves turning high-level proposals into well-defined projects, mobilising resources, and establishing necessary structures for successful delivery. You will collaborate with stakeholders, address risks proactively, and ensure governance and controls are in place. Strong influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects of varying scale and complexity, focusing on systems, processes, or organisational change.
• Team Management: Lead project teams including experts and technical resources; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and risks.
• Scope Management: Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets within financial limits.
• Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and address challenges proactively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and industry best practices.
• Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies.
