We are looking to add a Portfolio Governance Analyst to our Cyber Security team based in Derby, on a permanent basis with both full-time and part-time working considered.

Why join Rolls-Royce?

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere. By joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Portfolio, Change and Awareness, you will work closely with Programme Managers, Project Managers, Architects, and stakeholders across Cyber Security, Digital & IT and the wider business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to develop experience in cyber portfolio governance, delivery assurance and programme management within a complex enterprise environment.

There are also opportunities for this role to gain other experience in Cyber security practises such as cyber awareness and phishing simulations.

What you will be doing:

As the Cyber Security Portfolio Governance Analyst, you will support the effective governance, reporting and coordination of the Cyber Security portfolio, helping delivery teams to keep projects on track and ensuring leaders have clear visibility of progress, risks and decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate portfolio governance forums and leadership meetings, including preparing agendas and materials, capturing key actions and decisions, and proactively following up with owners to ensure commitments and progress are maintained.
  • Track and provide assurance over project delivery performance against agreed time, cost, scope and quality measures, monitoring key milestones, dependencies and delivery commitments and highlighting projects that are at risk or require additional support.
  • Work closely with project and delivery teams to maintain accurate plans, forecasts and status updates, supporting the identification, management and tracking of recovery actions where projects are off track or require additional focus.
  • Develop clear and concise portfolio dashboards, reports and leadership summaries, consolidating project information into a single view of portfolio health covering progress, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Analyse portfolio data to identify trends, themes, emerging risks and cross-project dependencies, providing meaningful insight to support informed decision-making across Cyber Security leadership, portfolio reviews, steering committees and wider governance forums.
  • Build strong relationships across Cyber Security delivery teams, project managers and business stakeholders, acting as a central point of coordination while promoting consistent reporting and governance practices and identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve portfolio visibility and drive continuous improvement.

The role will provide exposure to a broad range of cyber security initiatives and stakeholders across Rolls-Royce. We will support you as you build knowledge of cyber security, project delivery, governance and reporting.
