Job summary

Beazley Group is seeking a Cyber and Liability Catastrophe Modeller to lead the development, validation and application of both internal modelling methodologies and third‑party vendor models for cyber and liability catastrophe risk. You will ensure outputs are robust, fit for purpose and aligned to business requirements, while collaborating with underwriting, risk, and governance teams.

You will interpret models across internal and external scenarios, support Lloyd's Realistic Disaster Scenarios

Qualifications

• Experience in catastrophe modelling across cyber and liability lines.
• Experience with Lloyd's RDS is desirable.
• Ability to explain modelling results to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute catastrophe modelling across internal and external scenarios.
• Support regulatory reporting including Lloyd's RDS.
• Run internal probabilistic models under guidance.
• Provide portfolio commentary and present results to governance committees.
• Validate third-party models and internal scenarios; assess assumptions and sensitivity.
• Benchmark model outputs using internal and external comparisons.
• Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and changes.
• Provide analytics support for underwriting decisions.
• Develop and own documentation and controls for modelling processes.
