Job summary

NCC Group in Manchester is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a portfolio of medium to large technology projects across the group. This 12-month FTC role requires coordinating requirements, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to deliver on strategic priorities.

You will work in a hybrid environment, liaising with internal teams and external vendors, applying governance standards and reporting progress to the PMO.

Qualifications

• Proven PM experience in tech, ideally cyber security.
• Strong grasp of full project lifecycle and governance.
• Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives with diverse stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans and manage budgets.
• Provide weekly status updates to PMO and stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and manage resources.
• Apply best practices across project execution.
• Monitor progress and adjust scope, timelines, costs as needed.
• Ensure quality assurance and project evaluations.
