Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking an Innovation and Engagement Facilitator in Bailrigg, Lancaster, UK. The role sits at the intersection of academia, industry and regional innovation, building relationships with cyber businesses and researchers to identify opportunities and maximise impact.

You will work across the CyberFocus team, developing opportunities, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating workshops that connect academic and civic partners to deliver tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s level or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to engage researchers, businesses and civic partners to drive collaborations.
• Experience planning and facilitating stakeholder workshops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, researchers and partners across the regional cyber ecosystem.
• Support collaborative projects from early stages through delivery and maintain momentum.
• Identify opportunities through listening to stakeholder needs and make useful connections.
• Plan and facilitate workshops, innovation catalysts and other collaborative activities.
• Analyse workshop outputs to identify themes and contribute to reports and impact activity.
• Collaborate across the CyberFocus partnership to maximise value and alignment with programme objectives.
