Control Risks is seeking a Cyber Incident Response Consultant to join our London office. You will lead and deliver cyber incident response projects for clients, including compromise assessments, business email compromise investigations and ransomware response, working with a team on high-profile incidents.

The role emphasizes developing investigative toolsets and automation, with a focus on infrastructure, web servers and cloud environments, while staying ahead of evolving threat actors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience investigating complex cyber incidents, including ransomware attacks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, web servers and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with log analysis and digital forensics after cyber incidents.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with investigations into cyber incidents, including ransomware attacks.
• Develop and deploy tooling and automation to support investigations.
• Provide high-quality client reports detailing technical findings.
