Air IT is seeking a Cyber Essentials Advisor to join our Consultancy Team within Air IT’s Cyber Security Services. You’ll help customers understand, achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials certification while building consultancy and technical skills, with progression toward IASME-Assessor status and other offensive security areas.

You’ll work with customers directly, translating complex concepts into actionable guidance and managing multiple engagements.

Formación

• Two years IT, cyber security or related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, email/web filtering, EDR and SIEM.
• Working knowledge of identity platforms including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP and DNS.

Responsabilidades

• Advise customers on achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials certification.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, practical security guidance for customers.
• Conduct Cyber Essentials assessments once qualified as an IASME Cyber Essentials Assessor.
• Manage and prioritise multiple customer engagements and projects.
• Ensure recommendations are understood and implementable by customers.
• Continue developing technical and cyber security knowledge with the consultancy team.
