Job Description

The Role

A key strategic ambition is the delivery of a digitally enabled underwriting solution within Cyber. The digital product requires ongoing maintenance and development, which needs to be closely managed from within the Underwriting team, with a technical and project management skillset that allows for effective collaboration with IT, Operations, Data, Procurement teams, etc.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the alignment of all operational aspects to deliver a high-quality product to market. This involves coordinating efforts between all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of underwriting capability to distribution partners and supporting their engagement at every step.

Responsibilities Will Include

  1. The development of a CyberSpace business plan with each Regional Head of Cyber
  2. CyberSpace EPI and bordereaux management (reporting to regional team)
  3. Identification of regional distribution opportunities with Regional Head of Distribution and Regional Head of Cyber
  4. Working with Regional Distribution leads to develop distribution pipeline
  5. Ownership of distribution partner onboarding (digital terms of trade/product partner agreements)
  6. Establishment and management of development roadmaps/timetables with IT/Developer team
  7. Management and coordination of CyberSpace underwriting referrals with regional underwriting team
  8. Ensure compliance with all regional/state regulatory requirements for CyberSpace product, coordinate with regional legal/wordings specialists
  9. Work with Underwriting teams to ensure product terms and conditions are current and appropriate
  10. Develop operational capability to deliver product (internal & outsourced)
  11. Liaise with Proactive Services/Marketing to maintain relevant Mobile App content
  12. Work with Proactive Services to deliver ongoing risk/vulnerability reporting to policyholders
  13. Develop 3rd party service provider marketplace
  14. Manage any fronting relationships with Global Head of Cyber, should admitted capacity be sought

Skills And Experience

Relevant experience in managing and delivering digital underwriting products, or adjacent experience in delegated management functions, offering direction to Coverholders regarding regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

A sound technical knowledge and keen eye for detail concerning operational efficiencies and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders are essential.

Underwriting experience is desirable but not essential, as support will be provided to develop underwriting, business development, and product management skills.
