The team performs threat modelling, threat hunting, and ongoing tuning of detection logic, while sharing best practices across the firm. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Have (or will have) a degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• An avid follower of cybersecurity news.
• A strong programmer with high potential and an aptitude for learning.
• Comfortable using version control and preferred editors.
• Familiar with threat modelling and communicating security tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and systems to guard the firm and guard employees, data and infrastructure.
• Research and prioritise threats to monitor, hunt for them in data, and tune detections.
• Own all stages of the detection and response lifecycle and remediation workflows.
• Act as an ambassador for best practices and educate colleagues on cybersecurity.
