Bridewell have an exciting and varied portfolio of clients across Critical National Infrastructure, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Government, Aviation and more. We assist our clients by providing a full range of security services across Information security, cyber security, security operations, technology risk, security testing and data privacy.

What you'll be doing


Due to the continued growth of Bridewell Consulting and the demand for our SOC services, we are looking for a Cyber Defence Team Leader that will develop and manage our analyst pools whilst shaping processes and services to deliver an exceptional customer service and experience.

The role will be considered a Player-Manager, so we see this as a great opportunity for individuals interested in a progression into security management and leadership or for those looking to develop leadership and stakeholder skills whilst staying on a technical career path.

Main Responsibilities


  • Working with our analysts to help mentor, shape and create development plans to maximise their potential.

  • Development and implementation working practices and experiences that deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Manage day-to-day analyst activities, ensuring quality and performance.

  • Line management of a team of up to 10 analysts

  • Support our analysts with escalations and provide stakeholder management during security incidents.

  • Work within the SOC Management to identify and implement areas for improvement across people, technology, and process.

  • Continue your own personal development across management and technology.



What we're looking for


We're looking to ensure that the successful candidate has the right attitude and behaviours to succeed in this role which include having excellent organisational skills, being proactive and take pride in everything they do.


  • Must have at least two years' experience as a SOC Analyst.

  • Must have demonstrable experience with customer and stakeholder management.

  • Must have demonstrable experience working in a Service Provider environment.

  • Should have experience managing or leading teams.

  • Should have experience with Microsoft Security technologies.
