The role

As an associate product analyst within Cyber Defence, you will be responsible for working with operational teams, architecture and engineering for a suite of security tooling and services which make up a specific product group. This role is responsible for the Monitoring & Defence product group

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • Gathering and documenting requirements from operational service owners
  • Working with Engineering to design and deliver solutions to meet requirements
  • Workload/Backlog management and prioritisation of engineering tasks using agile methodologies
  • Toolset lifecycle management
  • Vendor relationship engagement
  • Working with Cyber Technology team to define technology roadmaps, consolidating tooling where appropriate and identifying potential efficiencies
  • Working with operational and engineering colleagues to identify and deploy automation opportunities across Cyber Defence
  • Upkeep of accurate documentation and team processes, including developing Product Governance

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Hold relevant professional qualifications in Cyber and Information Security (e.g., OCSP, CISSP, GCTI, GREM, CEH).
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with extensive experience with the tools and services below, with all or some of that time in a regulated environment.
  • Experience of the deployment and configuration of tools such as:
  • Sentinel or equivalent SIEM
  • Azure technologies
  • Microsoft Defender Endpoint
  • Microsoft Defender Identity
  • Microsoft Defender XDRR
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to cybersecurity, such as NIST CSF, PCI DSS, DPA 2018, GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders and senior management
  • Ongoing understanding of when a high degree of confidentiality is required, even under pressure.
  • Self-motivating, capable of operating under pressure and at pace, ability to manage and prioritise own time effectively and take decisions proactively
