Cyber Claims Adjuster

Description

An experienced claims professional is required to strengthen CFC’s claims team and ensure delivery of high-quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers. We seek a conscientious and hardworking claims professional with experience in cyber and technology claims. This role will collaborate with the CFC Claims and Incident Response team and various incident response vendors, including forensic, legal, and PR, to deliver a cost-effective yet high-quality response to insureds. The role also involves working with Underwriting, Finance, IT, and Products teams while complying with all relevant legal and statutory (FCA and Lloyd’s) requirements.

About the role

The Cyber Claims Adjuster will work closely with CFC’s internal Incident Response Team to guide clients and triage incidents with external response partners, ensuring a high-quality response to cyber incidents.

  • Proactively handle cyber and technology claims from first notification of loss to settlement within CFC’s delegated authorities.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Work actively with response vendors during claims incidents.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate reserving, identify and pursue relevant third-party recoveries, and seek to reduce claims leakage.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to provide feedback on claims issues and trends, and with the Products team on product development and wording.
