Job summary

CFC Underwriting in London is seeking a Systemic Risk Actuary to lead cyber catastrophe modelling and portfolio risk across a global book. You will own models, calibrate them to evolving threats and translate complex analytics into actionable underwriting insights.

Reporting to Michael Georgiou, you will collaborate with Portfolio Management, Actuarial and Catastrophe Modelling teams to shape risk appetite, growth plans and performance metrics in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance.
• Progress towards a recognised actuarial qualification.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own cyber catastrophe modelling and exposure management.
• Calibrate proprietary models to emerging threats and trends.
• Translate complex analysis into clear underwriting insights.
• Collaborate with underwriting, cyber security, claims and performance teams.
