Job summary

Airfinity is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team, applying scientific expertise to deliver high-quality intelligence for pharmaceutical clients. You will conduct in-depth research across the CVRM landscape and translate complex data into actionable insights.

The role covers bespoke forecasting, competitive intelligence, dashboards and client-facing projects, with opportunities to present findings to clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• A postgraduate degree in a scientific field; PhD preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong scientific research capability and CVRM knowledge.
• Experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting, or client-facing analytics is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to translate complex scientific data into commercial insights.
• Experience with data visualisation, dashboards and storytelling.
• Interest in using AI tools to enhance research and insights.
• Experience with R, SQL, Python or similar tools is beneficial.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
• Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
• Track clinical trials, drug candidates, competitor pipelines, launches and strategic positioning.
• Support candidate assessment and whitespace/opportunity identification.
• Contribute to bespoke forecasting and research projects from planning through delivery.
• Turn complex data into compelling insights, visualisations, reports and presentations.
• Present research findings and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop into a trusted scientific partner for clients with strong CVRM knowledge.
