Our client is seeking a Cut and Crease Machine Minder for their site in Aylesford.

They work with many big brands, both national and international, producing packaging for them.

They are looking for someone who has experience with autoplaten cut and crease machines and can produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make ready and operate the machines efficiently while meeting safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Complete all necessary administration, including data entry onto the company's IM systems.
• Repair or amend tooling and dies as necessary and where possible.
• Identify maintenance issues and resolve them or communicate with appropriate personnel according to departmental procedures.
• Carry out quality checks as per company guidelines.
• Ensure machines, tooling, auxiliary equipment, and the work area are kept clean, safe, and organized.
• Notify the supervisor of any consumable stock requirements.
• Utilize appropriate equipment to assist with material preparation.
• Assist the department with training needs for C&C apprentices and assistants.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by management.
• Comply with all business management system requirements and certification standards.

Details of work:

• Shift work from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday.
• 40-minute paid break.
• 40 hours per week.
• Must have experience in a similar environment and have operated autoplaten die cutter cut and crease machines.
• Good communication skills.
