A leading company in the logistics and shipping sector, GAC UK is seeking a Customs Operations Coordinator for their Teesside office. This role includes coordination of cargo processing through customs systems, ensuring compliance with quality procedures, and maintaining departmental KPIs. The ideal candidate will have prior customs clearance experience and strong communication skills, contributing to operational excellence within the team.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinatorto be based at our Teesside office.
What you’ll be responsible for:
To arrange/coordinate the accurate processing of customers cargo through the relevant customs systems.
To ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory and company quality procedures.
To ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed departmental KPI’s
To assist with activities as required within your department and as assigned by your line Manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience with completing customs clearance entries.
Previous experience using customs software ASM Sequoia.
Functional skills qualification in English and Mathematics.
A good work ethic and attitude.
Have the capability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
To work and communicate well with other operations team members.
