Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Government & Defence seeks a Customs Licenses and Authorizations Expert to lead compliance across bids, solutions and audits. This national role spans the UK with office visits as needed, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and operations.

You will guide export controls, sanctions, and ITAR/EAR considerations, develop training, and manage stakeholders across functions in a regulated environment. Enhanced security clearance is required.

This position is for a National role, you can be based all over the UK willing to reach one of our officies.The Customs Compliance Manager (Government & Defence) is a strategic compliance leader responsible for ensuringKuehne+Nagel Government & Defence operations meet the highest standards of customs and trade compliance. Working across bids, customer solutions, operational implementation, audits and training, this role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership,customers and operational teams. The position plays a critical role in protecting the business, supporting customer growth andstrengthening Kuehne+Nagel reputation as a trusted logistics partner within the defence and government sector.

How you create impact

• Provide expert guidance on customs compliance, export controls, sanctions and trade regulations.
