About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Operator to join our team, specializing in Imports & Exports, particularly in foodstuffs and general cargo via groupage trucks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled customs professional to manage end-to-end clearance processes in a role that offers stability, growth, and meaningful responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customs declarations for both Imports & Exports
  • Liaise with HMRC, port health authorities, and freight partners
  • Ensure full compliance with UK customs regulations
  • Manage documentation for groupage shipments and general cargo
  • Use systems such as CDS (Customs Declaration Service)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of customs clearance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of UK customs procedures and CDS
  • Experience with groupage operations and mixed cargo shipments
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
