Green & Wolvin Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Customs Compliance Supervisor based in Castle Donington, Leicestershire. You will lead a team of 5 customs brokerage agents and ensure end-to-end clearance across road, air and sea freight, using CDS/CHIEF and Destin8.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in customs/compliance, experience with CDS/CHIEF, and the ability to drive continuous process improvements.

Competenze

• 3+ years' experience in customs or compliance.
• Proven leadership of a small team (3+ people).
• Experience using CDS or CHIEF for customs entries.
• Desirable experience with AEO, LOA documentation, IPR/OPR.
• Knowledge of INCOTerms & export licensing is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Manage a team of 5 customs brokerage agents.
• Input road, air, and sea freight clearances into CDS/CHIEF using software like Destin8.
• Prepare road, air and sea freight documentation for customs entries.
• Handle customs entries (EUR1s/ATR1s) and arrange VAT/Duties billing.

We are actively looking to engage customs compliance professional with a passion for shipping and European / RoW freight forwarding for a new role as a Customs Compliance Supervisor in Castle Donington in Leicestershire.

Client Details

My client is a SME freight forwarding business, with huge ambitions for growth, in the freight & shipping industry. You will be joining a fast-pace environment assisting in finding logistics solutions for some of the world's largest industrial, retail & FMCG based customers. My client focuses on providing customs clearance for air freight, sea freight & road freight solutions, which are both cost effective & time sensitive.

Job Description

• Managing a team of 5x customs brokerage agents.
• Managing the team and assisting with inputting of road, air, sea freight clearances into CDS / CHIEF using a variety of software such as Destin8.
• Responsible for preparing road, air and sea freight documentation for customs entries - such as export packing lists, certificates of origin, EUR1s, ATR1s, dual use licensing, port charges, cost of special documents, etc.
• Handling customs entries (EUR1's / ATR1's) and arranging billings for VAT/Duties
• Ensuring, booking and conducting of full end-to-end customs clearance.
• Working on 4on4off shift pattern.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3+ year's experience in customs and/or customs compliance
• Desire to conduct team leadership of ideally 3+ individuals
• Experience of using CDS or CHIEF software for customs entries
• Desirable experience of compliance such as AEO, Letter of Credit Documentation, IPR and/or OPR.
• Knowledge of INCOTerms & Export Licensing is advantageous but not essential
• Commutable to Castle Donington office in Leicestershire.
