Customs Clerk | Dover | £30,000 | Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Are you experienced in customs clearance and looking to join a well-established team in Dover?

We're working with a reputable freight forwarding company that’s looking to bring an organised and detail-focused Customs Clerk on board - this is a great opportunity to work with a company that values accuracy, teamwork, and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Processing import and export customs clearances for a range of clients
• Using various systems (including CDS) to submit declarations
• Communicating with HMRC, port authorities, and other regulatory bodies
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
• Supporting drivers and clients with customs-related queries
• Working closely with the wider operations and transport teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a customs clearance or freight forwarding role
• Solid understanding of import/export documentation and procedures
• Familiarity with CDS system
• A methodical and detail-oriented approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
