The role involves managing customs administration processes, ensuring compliance with UK import/export regulations, and supporting international trade operations. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in customs and strong organizational skills. This full-time position offers a salary range of £28k-£30k DOE.

Our market leading client are looking for a meticulous and reliable Customs Administrator to provide essential support & manage customs admin processes. This role plays a critical part in facilitating smooth international trade operations and ensuring strict adherence to all customs regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate customs administration for both inbound and outbound shipments
  • Execute technical and commercial customs-related tasks with accuracy
  • Communicate with clients and carriers to resolve documentation gaps or missing information
  • Maintain and update the customs broker and client databases
  • Oversee management of preference documents and ensure proper control
  • Complete and file TSS declarations in a timely manner
  • Manage client billing processes and review supplier invoices for approval
  • Support customs audits conducted by the global compliance team
  • Administer and reconcile the Duty Deferment Account


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customs-related role
  • Solid understanding of UK import/export regulations and customs compliance
  • Familiarity with customs documentation codes and preferential trade agreements
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills, including document management and accurate record-keeping
  • Experience with billing processes and document archiving
  • Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally with clients and logistics partners
