Customs Administrator
Location: Dover
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 (depending on experience)

You'll play a vital part in ensuring seamless customs clearance for international shipments, supporting both import and export processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and process customs declarations for road freight
  • Ensure full compliance with UK customs regulations and procedures
  • Communicate with HMRC, port community systems, and other authorities to resolve queries
  • Keep internal systems and records updated and accurate
  • Stay informed on the latest customs legislation, procedures, and systems

What We're Looking For:

    • At least 2 years' experience in customs clearance
    • Solid background in road freight logistics
    • Practical experience with customs software such as Sequoia, CDS, or Destin8
    • Strong understanding of UK import/export laws and documentation requirements
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Team player with strong communication and organisational skills
