Job summary

Drnewitt in Somerset invites a Customer Technical Manager to join a fast-growing food manufacturing business. The role focuses on ensuring UK compliance for products, overseeing artwork, and serving as the technical contact for UK customers with processes often run outside the UK.

You will coordinate cross-site technical activities, support non-UK manufacturing, and drive quality and regulatory compliance across sites, including regular travel to London and EU destinations.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of food legislation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food products produced and imported into the UK comply with relevant legislation and labelling requirements.
• Review and approve artwork for accuracy and technical compliance.
• Act as the key technical contact for UK customers regarding products manufactured outside the UK.
• Support technical administration related to non-UK manufacturing sites.
• Facilitate clear communication between UK operations and non-UK production sites.
• Assist in resolving any quality or compliance issues with external sites.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

With a strong presence in both branded and private label markets, this business has doubled in size over the last four years and continues to lead through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to quality.

This role is based primarily at our Somerset factory, with regular weekly travel to London and occasional travel within the EU.

Key Responsibilities:
