Job summary

Co-op is hiring Customer Team Members in a fast-moving store. The role involves a mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts, with weekend work and at least 2 closing shifts. Full training is provided and you will join a friendly team delivering essential local services.

The role may include duties in the bakery or post office, helping with online orders, and assisting customers throughout the day to create a great shopping experience. Applicants must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and with a team.
• Interest in retail and a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service and resolve issues on the shop floor.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate tills, stock shelves, and assist in the bakery or post office as needed.
• Check prices, dates, and stock accuracy to maintain store standards.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with store policies.
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community.
