Job summary

The Co-op in Chalfont St Giles is hiring a Customer Team Member for 16 hours per week with regular overtime on a permanent, part-time basis. Shifts include 6am–2pm on Thursdays and 10am–6pm on Fridays, with full paid training.

You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist on tills and in the bakery, and support customers in-store, post office or online orders. The role offers community-focused work and benefits including a 30% discount, pension contributions, and 31 days holiday pro rata.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and in our in-store bakery, contributing to daily operations.
• Help maintain store performance by stocking shelves and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Make sure the store is safe and legal—prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
