Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Member in Wilmslow to join a friendly store team and deliver helpful service to customers. You’ll assist with stocking, price checks, and daily store operations while providing a warm, community-minded shopping experience.

The role involves a mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts, including weekends, with full paid training and opportunities to assist in post office or online order services. A great entry point into retail.

• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community

Customer Team Member

Location: 51 Water Lane , Wilmslow, SK9 5AW

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend. We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op, join us and play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in your local Co-op store.

As a Customer Team Member, you’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your community every day. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
