Job Description:

Working pattern: Shifts to cover 5pm-11pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, to be discussed at interview.

Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you'll do
  • Provide friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first: respond to queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, and deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Ensure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked, and check prices, dates, and temperatures.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues.
  • Support your local community by getting involved in activities and events.
