Job description

We are looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Full, paid training is provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!).

As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. Your responsibilities include providing excellent service at the tills and on the shop floor, restocking shelves, and cleaning spillages. We focus on making things fairer for our members and communities, and support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing with market-leading policies.

What you'll do
  1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service—responding to queries, promoting Co-op products and Membership, and ensuring a great shopping experience.
  2. Support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members, making everyone's day better.
  3. Maintain store safety and legality—ensure shelves are stocked, prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate.
  4. Assist in introducing new products and services, sharing experiences with colleagues.
  5. Engage with the local community through activities and events.
