Varied shifts including afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends, to be discussed at interview. The role will also include working in our in-store bakery.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you'll do:
  1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service – respond to queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, work in our in-store bakery, and deliver a great shopping experience.
  2. Work together to make everyone's day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  3. Ensure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked, and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
  4. Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
  5. Support your local community – get involved in activities and events!
