Overview

Customer Team Member

Location: 202 Broadway, Didcot, OX11 8RN

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 15 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store such as re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you’ll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, and deliver a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Keep the store safe and compliant – ensure shelves are stocked and prices, dates, and temperatures are accurate
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support local community – get involved in activities and events
