Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Leader in Wrexham to run day-to-day store operations on a part-time schedule (15 hours a week) with regular overtime, including shift work 2pm–10pm or 5pm–10pm. You will lead a small team to deliver essential community services, including potential post office or bakery duties and online services support.

You'll help keep shelves stocked, support sales, and drive membership growth while engaging with customers and local initiatives.

• Experience in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
• Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.

Customer Team Leader Location: Market Street Rhos, Wrexham, LL14 1AF Pay: £14.48 per hour Contract: 15 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time Working pattern: 2pm to 10pm or 5pm to 10pm, with flexible availability across the week to include at least 1 weekend shift.

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community.

Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers.

Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
