Job summary

Co-op Digital is seeking a Customer Team Leader to run shifts at our Southampton store. You will lead a small team on your shift, coach colleagues, and ensure smooth tills and stock processes while delivering great service.

You’ll engage with customers and the community, promote Co-op membership, and contribute to store performance through merchandising and HR tasks. This part-time role offers flexible shifts, a strong benefits package including a 30% in-store discount and access to Co-op

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.

• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
• Champion Co-op through community engagement and membership growth.

Customer Team Leader

Location: 141 South East Road Sholing, Southampton, SO19 8JS

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening 5:45am), afternoons, late evenings (store closing 10pm) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview
